i take mild offense to this, though maybe i'm reading the intent wrong.
even though their sound is closer to mainstream than some, imho orbital
has made some of the most "intelligent" electronic music out there,
compositionally-speaking. god forbid somebody actually incorporate
melodies and traditional song structures into their music. uhhh... yeah.
so to rephrase what djslacker said, most people (like e.g. my dad) still
think orbital sounds like clicks, noise and beeps. hell, my dad probably
thinks britney spears sounds like noise, clicks and beeps. he's old.
